My New Tat...hehheh

I wasn't going to do it at first.
It was late
and my judgment was impaired
by the consumption
of caffeine and sugar.
I had little
to do with the choice
of the design.
I had never met the artist.
The man who applied
it was an amateur.
In fact,
I was his first.
My Love chose the place
on my lower back
right at the waist line.
I've always said
that I would never
get a tattoo.
However,
the price was right,
a mere $0.50.
And I think it looks rather classy.

So,
tell me what you think.

LOL!

I WOULD NEVER!

It will be gone in less than a week.
Down the drain.

I was going to ask if you've had a tetnus shot recently when you said it only cost $0.50! Ack! For some strange reason I have been fascinated with the idea of getting a real one. It started when I was 18 and has never gone away. Fortunately I don't like pain and I'm way too chicken to get one, so I'm still safe, but I don't know why a part of me wants one so much. Bizarre. :P

Heard a funny (now scary) story about a woman who's cute little dolphin tat on her hip turned into a blue whale after kids. That pretty much cured me of my desire for one! HA!

Too funny, I really believed you for a second. I keep telling my kids I am going to get one, just to mess with them.

Totally worth it ... when it washes off! Actually I would totally get one if it wouldn't freak my man out!

Love it! The hubby and I went on a cruise a few years back, I think he and I were possible the only two on the ship sans tattoo.

If we ever get the opportunity to go again I am totally getting a fake Tattoo.

Way to go!

Blessings
Robin

Never say NEVER! But, I do have to tell you that as a nurse, it doesn't matter how cute the tat looked when you were young, eventually they all become saggy and hard to understand. You know, sailors with naked ladies....they all get saggy boobs...even tattoos!

I'm with you--never! My sister has a viking on her leg that goes from her knee down to her ankle--yuk is he ugly AND permanent. I have asked numerous times what happened that she agreed to get him put on her leg and she will never tell me the truth. I'll bet it involved lots of alcohol!

Tatoos freak me out! The whole time I was reading I was thinking "NO WAY this Mommy who puts a hymn on her blog on Sundays is getting a real tatoo. NO STINKING WAY." And... I was right : ).
