I'd Like to Thank...

...all the ugly mug owners and visitors who deemed my longhorn, pig-nosed bull mug the ugliest mug in Linda's Ugly Mug contest. I was surprised because there was some stiff competition in the way of ugliness. I am elated because this is the first contest/giveaway I have won. Thank you Linda for hostessing such a wonderfully fun adventure of a contest. The Starbucks card was enough to get me playin' but then you threw in the decadent chocolate *drool* and the sweet love you latte towels AND the cutest mug ever. I promise I will Espresso myself all over the place. ;-)

And thanks to all my friends who gave me their vote.

You have made a busy, tired, stay at home, blogging mommy's day.

And what will happen to all the other ugly mugs I purchased in preparation for this contest.

They will have their day in the sun...

All except this one...

...its in the garage sale box.

***Editing to add:

Yes, I promise that I brush my girls' hair every day. However, they are all inflicted with perpetual bedhead disease. It's genetic and rare and can only be treated with mass amounts of styling products and hair accessories. Both of which I do not find necessary to use everyday. Treatment can be very time consuming and so is withheld when we have nowhere to go.

Congratulations! Don't your kids looks cute drinking from your 'ugly' cup collection. I feel sorry for the cup you put in the garage sale box, I think it's pretty.

You really have a gift for writing. Enjoyed your little edited add on.

Have a great day with your kids.

Congrats to you, Becky! Now email me your address at lindacrowatcomcastdotnet, and I'll get those to you pronto. The kiddos are so cute. They will enjoy reading about this someday and the fact that you took their pics with the mugs. And if they do happen to read this someday, let me say your mom is a great writer who keeps me entertained. Thanks for providing her with great material!

I think we will have to start
"Ugly Mug Day" to brighten the
winter a bit more and help the memory of this extraordinary win
live on in memory. Besides,you
all have your own "ugly mug" now.
;-) Congrats!!

braids...I kept marthas hair in corn rows for the first two years ... partly because she loved them and partly because she hated having her curles brused every day.
of course it helps that I could do the braids and usually did them as she lay on my lap asleep or watching the tv...
your kids are just adorable by the way bed heads and all!

Way to go, Becky! I'm still snorting about the "home on the range" picture. Well done! That was a whole bunch of fun... a superb value on entertainment.
Enjoy your day.

Congrats Becky!!! I am so happy you won...

I looked at the picture of your angels and wondered hmmm what did she bribe them with to get them to sit so politely at the table??

What a bunch of cuties you have :)

Congratulations Becky!! I am so happy for you (although I must admit, I am a tad bit envious of you too. I mean, not only did you get the giftcard, but won some chocolate too!)

Love the kids' bedheads. Reminds me of my girls when they were young. Just wait, someday they will get old enough to put styling products in their own hair and you will be free. LOL

Congratulations, no really... I am so happy for, really really I am... (maybe not so much) no really I am, I am now going to take to my bed for a while to get over my crushing loss (LOL)

Enjoy your prize, no really I mean it enjoy your prize (sobs, bitter weeping, gnashing of teeth...)

Your chillen's are to cute!!

Love the bed heads, those were the best times, when they just wake up and remember that they do really love you and want hugs and kisses.

Blessing and heartfelt congratulations!

You Crack me up, once again! I love stopping by, no matter how behind on blogging I am! Wish I had voted, but I just love me an ugly mug.
MY FAVE mug is one that says in VERY tiny letters:
"Let's talk about me."
It makes me laugh.

Congratulations! I KNEW you would win! I think your girls hair is adorable. Tell people you're going for the Meg Ryan tousled look. It's about fashion, not laziness. (not that you ever inferred laziness...these are just my excuses I'm sharing with you, my bff!)
