Project 365~Catch Up

Whew! I am so far behind on this funtastic project, but I didn't want to let January slip by completely unnoticed so I went through my pics and found one from almost every day. I have been enjoying all of your photo journals so much it made it hard not to take part. I think it is a great way to remember the year through pictures and be able to look back with ease.

So away we go.....

January 1st Booger invites herself to breakfast. This is normally not allowed but I think Boogs was more interested in catching a nap on the padded chair than taking a bite of Kiah's french toast.

January 2nd after the start of the new year it was time to erase our Christmas ABC list. T was for Tree by the way.

January 3rd I had an idea to do project 365 all about Nibbles the wooden mouse's adventures. Here he is getting his favorite drink at Starbucks. However, My Love was quick to inform that he would not be seen in public with me if I was going to be taking pictures of a wooden mouse all the time...so... Project 365 ~ Nibbles' Adventures was aborted.

January 4th we shopped the big K with our little Marli. We lost track of her while walking towards the electronics, but before we had time to panick we found her again.

January 5th as a mom of four I try to economise and stretch our clothing dollar. I require my kids to wear the bags the clothes came home in before they get any of the new clothes.

January 6th give a kid a camera, she'll take a picture of her feet.

January 7th lunch break is welcome after an intense morning of school work.

January 8th I finally got around to cleaning up the office area. To see what it looked like before click HERE. Better, yes?

January 9th Daphne rarely poses for a picture but here I caught her in one of her favorite lookouts, our master bathroom window.

January 1oth My Love decides that it is too gorgeous a day to be spent inside so we head to the park. I'm not an over protective mommy but there are times when I would like to keep them in a bubble.

January 11th we meet with friends after church to celebrate some January birthdays. Eden enjoys her pink birthday pupcake.

January 12th Grandpa comes over to reclaim some plants after his trip to Hawaii and Marli refuses to let him go again.

January 13th if you fall asleep in the livingroom of our house you are fair game.

January 14th have I ever mentioned that I would gladly trade places with our cat for just one day.

January 15th daily walks with Grandma and Grandpa are always enjoyed.

Here is where my camera took a break. I don't have any pictures dated between January 16th and the 21st. We get busy, life carries on, the camera sits on the shelf..... I'll try not to skip any days next month.

January 22nd James calls me to the bathroom using an urgent 'I need you now' kind of voice. I enter the bathroom to find a smiling bearded boy. Whew. LOL.

January 23rd is the Awana Sparks Drive-in. Kids construct a cardboard car to sit in while watching a movie. Eden has her pink pupmobile, Kiah wanted an ice cream truck, and of couse my fast and furious James had to have a green race car.

January 24th the kitties knocked the tree off of the top of the TV cabinet. Hmmmm... Maybe its time to think about putting that thing away.

January 25th Flip is brought in at night but that doesn't mean she doesn't still stand guard against rats with hooves (deer). We often find her barking with her head out the cat door at the slightest rustling of leaves.

January 26th thought I would show the first sight someone sees when they enter our home. Inviting, huh? ;-)

January 27th watching a video is always more fun when done from a tent. Even if you're James and you are, "Sick of girly stuff!"

January 28th I was feeling pretty wretched but I managed to snap a pic of Marli doing her best to make sure Mommy doesn't go out of a job.

January 29th I was at the hospital the entire day, but judging from what I found on top of the TV cabinet I'm pretty sure I know what went on at the home front. And Yes, our cat tortured tree is still up.

January 30th I came home from my appendectomy and we celebrated Eden's real birthday with more pink cake.

January 31st my best friend came to visit with her son Cooper to help me do the grocery shopping. James declared Coop his best friend and Cooper didn't get to have an opinion on the subject.

So there you have it. My January at a glance. Memories made. Moving on.

I can't believe it is already February!

ACK!!!

Great pictures...especially considering you just had surgery! I love the plastic bag clothes-too funny! Oh, and someday when I stop by for a visit, I'm using the back door, unless you have snakes back there too. EEK!

Becky...your blog is amazing! You do such an incredible job with that camera. It was good to see you; sorry for all of the drama. We worked it out at the Colfax McD's guess she couldn't handle a strained hour in the car. Love you so much, enjoyed our little time together. Amy
