Down here on the Street we know how to built a nest for nap time. Often referred to as a fort or, my favorite, king castle, these piles of comforter and fluff show up in various locations around the house. A few times a day I am summoned by, "Mooooooooommy, come look at my king castle."
I walk towards the voice noticing along the way that every bed has been stripped. The nester is my little Eden. My chipmunk. Her nest is usually filled with books, a few special toys and whatever she had left from snack time. There is nothing more quirkalicious then checking on my little one during her nap and seeing her passed out in her king castle down on the Street.

Aww, made me smile! She's such a cutie!!!
Have a wonderful weekend!
What a sweetie! I remember this well. With my boys we called them "Forts", but it was the same fun.
Do you know how special this post and picture will be in a few years. These are the memories that you build for your children.
How fun! Reminds me of the days when my kids did that as well. We had everything from castles, to homes, to forts, but it gave me at least an hour or two of uninterrupted time while they played happily.
A nap sounds great right about now. I overate at lunch and now I have the sleepies.
LOVE this! I am praising God that there are still mom's who delight in the real fun of childhood. I think this means they also get to climb trees and make mud pies?
What a sweetie!! I love her hair!
-sandy toes
How precious!!! My son does that all of the time and it never gets old!
My first visit here and I have been laughing at all the humor especially the sidebar pictures about blogging and the lady holding her computer that one put me in stitches!
Blessings on your Saturday!
First time visit to your site and I found it very entertaining and humorous. I'm glad you found my site and left a comment, because it brought me to yours. I'll be back to visit. Carolyn
This is the cutest story. It made my heart happy : ). I love when children smile with their noses scrunched up. It is one of my most favorite things!
