You See What I'm Sayin'

Not sure what to say except...

...HHEEEEEEEeeeeeeEERRRRRRRREEES

BECKY!

First of all, I would like to thank My Love who did the all the camera work and was extremely indulgent toward me during the process of making this film.

Second, I would like to thank all the little people, namely my kids, who did a great job at snake handling and adding some interest to my clip.

Third, just in case you think I am talented or confident enough to pull this off in one take I present to you the following as evidence to the contrary.

Thank you.

Edited after published: In case the above video wasn't enough to confirm it let me tell you now that I am a SCHMUCK! I completely forgot to thank the wonderful, beautiful, talented, gracious, and charming Linda at 2nd Cup of Coffee for organizing this cool meet and greet called I See What You're Saying. Thank you Linda, Thank you ~ Thank you ~Thank you! You can get to her awesome blog and the rest of the participants by clicking on the owl at the top... at least I got that right.

P.S. If you used Vimeo I can't see your video for some reason :-( I'll keep trying... I really want to see what you all are saying.

Becky, that's great! Nice to "meet" you! Hey, did one of those snakes get away?

Thanks for this, it's just what I needed.

heidi,

The snake didn't get away... its wrapped around Eden's (curly blonde hair)neck. She is in no danger, I swear ;-)

Oh I'm so embarrassed that you heard the thud as I hit the floor! My delicate constitution just couldn't handle that snake-around-the-neck thing! EEEEKKKKK!!

You're ADORABLE! I love your video blog! Brava!!!

XOXOXO . . .

p.s.
Thanks for the encouraging comment on my blog. I love you!

You are EXACTLY like I thought you'd be ... hilarious. OH, Becky, I'm just gushing. Thank you for doing this, sweet friend. I am SO glad to have found your blog recently. What I would be missing would be a crime. And can I just say that if your wonderful child was in a musical, I would watch it one million times, esp. if she said my name every time! Have a wonderful, fun day, Becky!

did SOMEONE faint...pff, that'd be me..especially if you read my post from yesterday and my fear of snakes in toilets. very creative, fun to visit, loved the music...nice to meet you.

Very funny! Do you sing in a chior? You should!

But for the record I think you are nuts for owning snakes!

Sara@iSass said...

Chirping cricket was really cool, how did you ever learn that?
Ummm, snakes really aren't my thing. I would scream bloody murder and THEN faint. Your kids are really brave.
Thanks for stopping by, nice to meet you!
Blessings.

Oh, this was funny! I think I am one of the few people that aren't too freaked out by the snakes...well, harmless ones anyway. :) Love your voice, too...you are a talented lady! Nice to meet you.

Your artwork drew me right to your site (ha!!)....and as much as I'm not a snake fan, I was so mesmerized watching your kids that I had to see your video twice!! (Not to mention the fact that your blog name is one of the most clever I have come across.)

Glad I found you; I'll be back to visit!

Okay, this is so awesome. I was at Linda's blog today and she was reflecting on the whole "I see what you're saying" thing. She mentioned that someone had a kid with a snake around his/her neck. I was so bummed that I didn't see that! And then I came here! YAY!!! I found you! Those snakes are awesome!

You are absolutely adorable, and I loved your cricket sound. It looks like you enjoy finding cool critters out in the yard with your kids too! I hope you'll keep sharing your finds with us.

It was very very nice to meet you!!!

I loved the snakes, it would have sent my hubby running for the hills, he has an unnatural fear of them. I can't say I would want one wrapped around my neck but it was nice to see your children so comfortable with them. Great video clip!

I loved all THREE videos. The charming little one upset about writing. You...working with script...and babies... and.... SNAKES!! I once took my granddaught to a friend's house who had a corn snake (Like the golden one). Little m had it around her neck most of the day, much to her mother's horror...who was NOT there at the time!!

FUN!! Bless you for home schooling. It isn't easy.
