I See What You are Saying ~ Part "duh"

And by DUH I am referring to me :-p

Are you having fun yet?
I found it much easier to humiliate myself this time
than I did last time.

From the first installment of I See What You Are Saying
I learned three things:

1. Most bloggers do NOT like to see snakes wrapped around children.
2. Watching yourself in a cheesy clip is not as easy as it may seem.
3. Do more singing because Linda loves musicals.

Here are the words...

A Housewife's Song

Sung to the tune of I Can See Clearly Now

I can see dust now the blinds are drawn.
I can see little hand prints everywhere.
Gone are the clean panes, the stains have come.

Its gonna be a long, hard working day.

I can see pet hair all over the floor.
I'd use the vacuum but it don't work no more.
Cobwebs are hanging from everywhere.

Its gonna be a long, hard working day.

Look all around there's nothing but clothes to fold.
Look under the bed there's dust bunnies to scold.....

The sink is full again and I have no soap.
The cupboards empty and there is no hope,
Cuz there's sticky kids runnin' everywhere.

Its gonna be a long, hard working day.
Its gonna be a long (long), hard (hard) working day.

Three things I learned from this installment
of I See What You Are Saying:

1. I waddle.
2. No wonder my house is such a mess... Cleaning wasn't in the script.
3. This must be my 'before' video.

Thank you Linda at 2nd cup for putting this all together... You ARE the WOO-to-the-hoo!!!

Thank you My Love for the great job filming my humiliation.

Thank you to my loverly children for... being themselves. ;-)

AND Thank you to all of you... and, my apologies, LOL!

BECKY! That was fabulous! I'm glad you posted the lyrics, too, because it helped me "hear more clearly now." LOVED, loved loved this video! You are so sweet and funny. Geez Louise; you're only the 3rd I've visited, and I told Mr. Greg if I gave out awards, he'd get "most creative," but now I've yanked that away from him and handed it to you, virtually, because I'm too broke to have a real award! Not really, Greg; I'm chainsawing the award down the middle for both of you! Thanks, Becky, for doing this. I know you are a busy mom, and I'm glad you use blogging for a creative outlet. I look forward to all of your posts. Keep my laughs coming! Love ya, Linda

Well, bless your heart Becky. You are still smiling and singing too. I know it's hard to raise 4 kids that are close in age. You and your husband deserve an award. Especially you.

May the New Year bring you many blessings, good health and some peaceful moments.

Excellent vlog and so well done! Wish I'd thought of using a script. Your kids would make really cute back-up singers if you wanna take it on the road :-)

That was great! I love your song! I had though about writing a song to the tune of "Grown-up Christmas List" called "Mom's Christmas List" but I did not get that far. Something like..."No more dishes to be clean, oh mom she's being mean..." and on and on. Maybe next year!

Have to go fold clothes now...

I loved the song. You should put it on you tube...maybe GMA will have you on like they did the woman who sang to the Hall. Chorus.

Becky!!! You're back! Loved the song. Loved the reality of the house. Looks like mine. Oh, and as far as I'm concerned, the holidays were a very paltry excuse for your lack of posts. But, I will forgive you, but I do expect better now!

Booger looks like he approves. I thought I went out on a limb with my acting but you really did it with the singing. Great song.

I have the same question as Mama Belle: Did you plan the kids doing that at the end? Too cute.

Loved the song...and the transparency you have. Great post!

Nice to meet you...happy New Year!

OK, what I want to know is did you tell your kids to do that in the background or was that just natural... because it TOTALLY added to the song. Great!!! Loved it!
