I'm Home and Thank You

You are all too much! I praise God for the love and support of my family and friends and all of my cyber buddies lifting me up in prayer. I am so blessed. Thank you all for your concern and loving thoughts, I appreciate it with all my heart and am reciprocating by sending prayers of thanks to our Heavenly Father for each one of you.

My recovery is going well. I feel good with the exception of a sore belly button and feeling as if I did 1000 sit ups. I will probably post a more detailed account of my experience sometime soon... afterall, I have a lot of sitting around to do ;-), but for now I just wanted to let everyone know that I am doing fine and I am surrounded by family and friends ready to do my bidding. (Didn't I read something about a frapalappachinodingdong?) ;-) LOL.

My only restriction is too keep kids off my belly (the Dr even gave me an extra night in the hospital to ensure this) and to get lots of rest. I'm definitely up for that.

One more thing, My Love was right, I haven't even been home more than 45 minutes and I hop right into blogspot to check on my pals. It would have been sooner but I wanted to taste some real food first.

Thanks Again! (((((HUGS)))))

Emergency Surgery

To all of Becky's bloggy friends, this is her love coming to you at 12:42 on Wednesday night. I wanted to let everyone know that yesterday she started having abdominal pain, it intensified this morning. By noon I took her to the doctor and it turned out to be appendicitis which they surgically removed tonight. She is doing fine now and resting. I am sure that the first thing she will want to do upon arriving home is to post all of you and let you know she is still alive. Hopefully that will be on Friday. Thank you all for being so supportive of her.

ABC, Wordful, and Watch Me Wednesday ~ A Triple Threat

Today's letter for
ABC Wednesday
is B

B is for Boy in a Box.
Its true what they say...
Its not the gift that counts,
its the box it came in.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Four kids, four hats, four hours of garage sale shopping which happened almost four months ago. Just look at these kids... some ready for naps, some ready for action, squished faces (Marli does not really look that way lol) and misbuttoned shirts. I see a ruler, a charmer, a clown, and an odd one out, but by choice. They are my own little set of Mad Hatters and I love them all.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Watch Me Wednesday

This one does require some explanation.

The kids, particularly James, thinks it is HIL. LAR. RI. OUS. To put scary things under the covers of My Loves side of the bed. One day James gathered every plastic ant, snake, spider, and I think even a little plastic ghost. He placed them all under Daddy's covers and could barely contain himself as he waited to hear screams of terror. My Love was getting home after bed time so I promised him I would video Daddy getting scared at the snakes 'n things.

James has watched this clip about 100 times and laughs uncontrollably at every viewing.

video

Isn't My Love a good actor? LOL. I had clued him in to James' plan so that he could emote the proper emotions. ;-)

He is going to kill me for posting this. :-p

Happy Wednesday!

I'd Like to Thank...

...all the ugly mug owners and visitors who deemed my longhorn, pig-nosed bull mug the ugliest mug in Linda's Ugly Mug contest. I was surprised because there was some stiff competition in the way of ugliness. I am elated because this is the first contest/giveaway I have won. Thank you Linda for hostessing such a wonderfully fun adventure of a contest. The Starbucks card was enough to get me playin' but then you threw in the decadent chocolate *drool* and the sweet love you latte towels AND the cutest mug ever. I promise I will Espresso myself all over the place. ;-)

And thanks to all my friends who gave me their vote.

You have made a busy, tired, stay at home, blogging mommy's day.

And what will happen to all the other ugly mugs I purchased in preparation for this contest.

They will have their day in the sun...

All except this one...

...its in the garage sale box.

***Editing to add:

Yes, I promise that I brush my girls' hair every day. However, they are all inflicted with perpetual bedhead disease. It's genetic and rare and can only be treated with mass amounts of styling products and hair accessories. Both of which I do not find necessary to use everyday. Treatment can be very time consuming and so is withheld when we have nowhere to go.

Oh Give Me a Home, Where the Ugly Mugs Roam...

...And the coffee is hot all day.
Where seldom is heard

"This joe tastes like turd,"
And there is always a fresh pot on the way.

My ugly mug and me.
Together forever.

At first I wasn't sure he was the one. But his charming (sexy) blue, zombie-like eyes, (sexy) pig nosed bull face, and (sexy)odd smell won me over.

The rope design has lassoed my heart the way it adorns even the lumpy handle.

And on the back... thats right... spurs. Ya know, to give my coffee that extra (sexy) kick.

We met at the Goodwill store one dark and... um... actually the weather was quite nice for winter. There were others in the running but something about this one mug steered me toward it. I was udderly convinced it was the best ugliest mug I had ever seen.

If you agree with me won't you please go on over to Linda's blog at 2nd Cup of Coffee and tell her mine is the ugliest (sexy) mug you have ever seen... please...

Vote for my ugly mug...
by leaving a comment
about my ugly mug

at 2nd Cup of Coffee
On Jan 26th

my coffee habit is at steak...
and thats no bull.

OK, I'll stop.

(Ugly is the new sexy)

And My Love wanted to enter as well...

Here is the ugly mug he chose...

I informed him ever so gently that his ugly mug did not qualify for the contest but he insisted that I show it anyway.

All This and a Giveaway Too

So Tabi @ Tabi Rambles On , ahem , borrowed this from Momma Needs a Time Out so I decided that I would do it too.

Rules: ... scrapped em. BWAHHHAHAHAHAHahahahahahaha!

Oh, and if you just came in for the giveaway and could care less about reading my attempts at being witty using facts about myself then save yourself some time and scroll to the bottom. Other wise...

Here we go:

Rebecca of Sunnybrooke Farm. Yah, I know... nothing like her. Everyone calls me Becky... I'm only Rebecca on paper or when my mommy is mad at me.

Girl, Eden, 4 (in 3 days)
Girl, Marli, 2.5

6. IF YOU WERE ANOTHER PERSON WOULD YOU BE FRIENDS WITH YOU?

I would like to say yes, but since I annoy myself, probably not. It would be fun to have someone to hunt thrift stores with.

What giving birth to four kids has done to my, not so hot in the first place, body ... and my knobby knees.

16. WHO DO YOU MISS THE MOST?

My grandparents on my dad's side. My Grandma is the best, and we used to see them at least once every other month, if not more. They moved over four years ago and I have only seen them twice since.

They will if they want to be my friend. Sorry, I've been hangin' with the kids too much today.

Old time cartoons on the tube, My Love sipping coffee and Marli calling me from the bedroom because she got up on the top bunk and can't get down... woodstove fan... Eden asking repeatedly to push a button (I assume she means on the computer cuz she is already pushing all mine) and fingernails which have grown far too long, tapping on the keyboard, and...thats about all I hear.

Oh, it says listening... in that case... nothing in particular.

Winter... I hate sweating when I'm not even moving.

33. HUGS OR KISSES?

36. LEAST LIKELY TO RESPOND?

41. ROLLING STONES OR BEATLES?

Beatles

42. WHAT IS THE FARTHEST YOU HAVE BEEN FROM HOME?

I went to Michigan when I was nine. It was a horrible trip in a minivan, with my older brother (the tormentor) and my mom's 'old lady music'.

I can chirp like a cricket. I'm good at training dogs. I can draw fairly well. Oh, I know, I really like to make up new words to songs ala Weird Al Yankovic.

44. WHERE WERE YOU BORN?

California... I was like sooo a valley girl but moved into the mountains when I was 10 so I wasn't too adversely effected.

45. WHOSE ANSWERS ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO GETTING BACK?

UUUuuuuummmmm... I would like to see Andi answer some of these, she's a kick!

46. HOW DID YOU MEET YOUR SPOUSE/SIGNIFICANT OTHER?

We met in a college Bible study. He was hot for me, asked me out, I ripped his heart out of his chest, threw it on the floor, and stomped on it. At least that is how he describes it just because I said "No" the first time he asked. Sheesh!

The Giveaway!

Its not mine but if you go to The Only Thing Worth Walking Toward and leave a comment on a certain post then you will be entered to win a $25 Amazon gift card. YAY! While you are there take some time to get to know Darlene and read her blog. Its great fun.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This post literally took me all day. By the end of it the power was out. I guess a tree fell on a line somewhere. At least I have battery power and the phone line. Its 10pm and I can hear the work trucks out there right now beeping every time they hit reverse.
*sigh*
I want to stay up till its back on, which was supposed to be an hour ago, but the light is not good for reading. Guess I can work on my Ugly Mug post but that goes against the procrastinator in me. So, I guess I'll just meander around and see what you are all up to. :-)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Just editing to say that the exact moment I hit the publish button the power came back on. I knew my words were magic but this is just too much...

I kid, I kid.

There was a Moth...

... fluttering around my living room. At first it spun in circles in mid-air before it went for the TV.

Mothy slapped at the television for a moment then toppled down toward to the DVR lights on a lower shelf, possibly suffering from static shock. It then proceeded to aim for the lamp directly above my head. At that point Booger caught sight of it and proceeded to bat at the flappy-flappy (her word not mine) until she succeeded in catching and eating it.

Poor moth.

Good kitty.

Now, if I were really talented I would relate this lame tale of a moths short existence to some trial of life and draw a beautiful, poignant conclusion that would move you to tears...

And if I were really, really talented I would make you think I had nothin', but then pull something out of my hat...

I don't wear hats. :-p

Occasionally, I feel as if life is just whizzing by. The kids are screaming, the dog is barfing, the phone is ringing. I am fluttering about sort of aimlessly between tasks. Breakfast, school, lunch, nap, dinner, bed...

I know my final destination is the main source of light in the darkness but in the meantime I haphazardly allow myself to get side tracked by lesser lights, distractive flickers, and occasionally I get zapped.

Being a supermom (which is any mom who remains conscience for the majority of the day) I recover quickly and refocus. I aim toward the light. However, instead of landing safely on the lamp shade to bask in the glow, I flappy-flappy indecisively until something lunges out of the darkness and consumes me for good.

OK, I am being a little mellow-dramatic, but there are times when my spiritual walk suffers at the paws of life batting at me. Some days I'm golden... I find my spot on the wall, rest my tired wings, and let The Light warm me through. Other days, I'm cat chow.

I am not doubting my salvation, and I am not doubting my relationship with Christ. Just longing for a time when the distractive flickers are fewer and I can rest in the glow of my Savior's love without hearing the screams in the background because one child breathing anothers air.

They feast on the abundance of your house;
you give them drink from your river of delights.

For with you is the fountain of life;
in your light we see light.

Continue your love to those who know you,
your righteousness to the upright in heart.

Psa 36:9

P.S. And to all those little old ladies I meet in line at the grocery store, I AM enjoying every minute, as much as humanly possible, because I know these days are fleeting and we will never get them back.

ABC, Wordful, and Watch Me Wednesday ~ A Triple Threat

Wednesday seems to go with everything. I have been doing Watch Me Wednesdays for a while and I enjoy it. It gives me a place to keep all those short video clips that are made just for the sake of memories, and perhaps a few laughs.

I have been enjoying ABC Wednesday through Life with Kaishon for at least half of round 3 and since they are back to "A" I think I will jump in.

But wait... there's more! I also love Wordful Wednesday. I am going to participate there too. How much can I squeeze into one day, you ask? Well, thats about it right there. I'm full (of it).

Wednesday = Triple Threat!

:-p I will have to plop them all into one post to save you (my loyal reader) and myself some time.

So here we go...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ahem, for this week's Watch Me Wednesday please click
here.
I already had this one done.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Today's letter for ABC Wednesday is "A"

A is for Awanas.

My oldest three are in this Christian Bible club. James and Eden are Cubbies and Kiah is in Sparks. Sparks get to dress up on certain nights for extra points or club dollars. This picture was taken on Fish and Ships Night (dress like a pirate or fishermnan). She became Gordan's trusty daughter, Kiah, the one eyed fishergirl.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Wordful Wednesday
My seven year old, toothless daughter is so proud of her redneck smile that whenever we are out she walks around with her upper lip curled under so that everyone can see she is missing her two front teeth.
She looks so much better now that they are out. They were hanging all askew and almost sticking straight out at times. Her right one was first to come out on Friday. Saturday I renamed her Fang until just before bedtime when My Love yanked the left one as well.
She woke up while I was playing Tooth Fairy but I dove onto the bottom bunk until she lay back down. In the morning she was so excited she woke me up by waving my own money in my face.
The Search
So tonight was shopping night. Yippee! That means Mommy gets to go out on the town all by herself and decompress. So what did I choose to do on my night out?
Shop for an ugly mug. HAHAHAHAHAhahahahahahaaaaa...
No, seriously. See.
Stop one:
Hospice Gift and Thrift
There were a few that may have qualified from this location but I settled on just one.
Stop two:
Home town Salvation Army
Only one was purchased here as well.
Stop three:
Next town Salvation Army
Now I'm becoming a little discouraged... I was expecting ugly mugs aplenty, but I only found one here as well.
Stop four:
Goodwill
Now this place was a goldmine... or an ugly mug mine. I was having trouble deciding which ones to leave behind, but at $0.29 apiece I ended up with four from these shelves.
Stop five:
Dollar Tree
Honestly, I felt bad that these were not cast-offs. They were made the way they were on purpose. I did not have the heart to call them ugly.
I do believe I found a couple of doosies that may qualify as ugly mugs. I will have to show you my actual purchases in a separate post because I have not photographed them yet. I'll let you help me decide which one to enter in the Ugly Mug contest.
MUG SHOTS
(I did not buy any of these pictured below but they caught my eye for one reason or another)
OK, I for one would not drink out of a mug that came from a veterinary genetics lab. The things that mug must have seen or been exposed to
:-0
I'm surprised it doesn't have three handles and an extra opening.
If only this were true.
It begs the question,
would somebody rich actually use this mug?
Hugs in a cup! Big ones too.
Who couldn't use that?
This trio was obviously someones personal creation probably given to a poor, unsuspecting mother who thought she was getting a day at a spa for her birthday.
Enjoy your coffee, Mommy.
:-p
Um... I actually did buy this one.
Not because its ugly
but because I think my son will like it.
This one may be a little obnoxious to use for morning coffee but it is sure to bring a smile.
I now wish I would have bought this one. I think I know someone who would have loved it.
Well, there you have it!
See what happens when you let Mommy out of the house all by herself. ;-)
American Idull S8, Mug Me, and Other Unrelated Topics
What can I say that hasn't already been said about the Ryan Seacrest showcase. I am trying not to get emotionally involved because I'm not sure we are going to keep our dish service and without it we will have no TV. I have thought about the the pros and cons of not having this link to the real world but what it comes down to is $$$.
The only shows we really care about (besides news and sports, both of which can be read... remember the newspaper?) are The Office and American Idol.
The Office can be rented and is actually preferred that way since it would be without commercials or week long cliff hangers.
American Idol, on the other hand, I haven't seen for rent. Besides, if you know who won would you really want to watch all those shows? Not me. I must admit that the audition shows were a little less painful to watch so far. there seems to be more of a balance between the good, the bad, and the ugly. :-p
To get to the end of this season of television (until May) it will cost us $120 +. To rent S5 of The Office will be around $20. Of course if we get someone to tape them for us the cost would be $1.07. The cost of a VHS tape from the Dollar Tree.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I had a thought about mugs today. Once upon a time I was a hard core trekkie. You are welcome to love that fact about me if you so please. Star Trek: The Next Generation was my obsession for at least three years, and it was all Lt. Commander Data's fault. Nowadays, though, I rarely have time to watch it let alone obsess over it and lets just be honest, marriage cures a lot of things like having too much time to yourself.

Anyway, I remembered that once upon a time I had owned a few Star Trek mugs. There are a couple in this pic, which ARE NOT UGLY (Thank you very much Sandy Toes ;-) ), but I had two others that may have qualified. One was a bust of Data, which I treasured and don't know why I ever got rid of, and the other was of Dr. Beverly Crusher which I don't know why I owned in the first place since I couldn't stand her. I thought I still had the latter still tucked away in a garage sale box but, alas, I could not find her. Too bad because she would have been a shoe in.

One of these days I will have to post the video of my room back in the Trekkie Becky days... you will be shocked and awed... Hmmm.... maybe not. I would like to keep what few readers I have.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My Love is kickin' my patootie with this weight loss thing... You can read about it here.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

My Christmas tree is still up. Is anyone else's? I thought I might be motivated to get it put away tonight but I got to blogging and ... well... you know the rest. I don't feel too guilty though. I did do the dishes, fold all the laundry, declutter the floor, bathe the kids, pack My Love's lunch, cleaned up our room, and helped Kiah work on a pres ant for Grandma.

The tree can wait.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Oops... I almost forgot to post my new (made up) word of the week.
Lindonian: adv. Of, or being like, in words or action, Linda @ 2nd cup of coffee.
Wearing a tree skirt around your neck would be a very lindonian thing to do but she would Ken Lee you for it. ;-)
See, now I'm just pickin' on ya.
My Lack of an Ugly Mug
And no I'm not talking about my beautiful face.
I am just trying to confirm the fact that I do not have an ugly mug to qualify for Linda's all to funny ugly mug contest. The poor girl is having trouble rounding up those willing to show... or even admit that they own an ugly, less than presentable mug. You know the one you shove to the back of the cupboard while looking for an appropriate vessel to serve coffee to a guest. The poor innocent blob of porcelain that will never make it to the mug rack. I honestly do not have one of these.
Here is a picture of every mug we own.
And while some of them may not be beautiful, even the plainest one is not ugly.
However, I think Linda has hinted that we may go shopping for this ugly mug if, in fact, we don't already have one. If that is the case I'm in! Now all I have to do is find an ugly mug by the 27th of this month... which sounds easy but it is already the 15th... WE ARE HALFWAY THROUGH JANUARY! Its almost Christmas!
Do I really want to spend time shopping for an ugly mug, pay money for it, invite it into my home only to ridicule it, then (in all likelihood) put it out in my next yard sale? YES!!! And you know why? Because I am addicted to Starbucks and there is a chance that I could win a $15 gift card, that's why.
See, my motives are pure. A $15 dollar Starbucks gift card would last me at least an hour... ok maybe 45 minutes. :-0
So if you have an ugly mug (in your cupboard) then head on over to Linda's @ 2nd cup of coffee and enter it into this sure to not be a flop of a contest. If you don't have a mug... get shopping!
My New Tat...hehheh
I wasn't going to do it at first.
It was late
and my judgment was impaired
by the consumption
of caffeine and sugar.
I had little
to do with the choice
of the design.
I had never met the artist.
The man who applied
it was an amateur.
In fact,
I was his first.
My Love chose the place
on my lower back
right at the waist line.
I've always said
that I would never
get a tattoo.
However,
the price was right,
a mere $0.50.
And I think it looks rather classy.
So,
tell me what you think.
LOL!
I WOULD NEVER!
It will be gone in less than a week.
Down the drain.
So Much to Blog...
... So little time.
I am having trouble balancing laundry, school, kids, blogging, living and reading all of your fabtabulous blogs. It would seem that the last one in that list has been winning out.
Has anyone seen my third child?
I will come up with something soon... I mean other than excuses.
BLAH!
Tick Tock
I forgot to add to my list that I would like to add three more hours to the standard 24 hour day. I would spend these hours sleeping. When I blog and have laundry, and need to clean the house for a visit from an appraiser, something has to give.
Since I want the house to be uncluttered and my family be dressed then I guess sleep will have to go (it usually is the first to go, being the last on my list of things to do) and because I am pretty sure having a blog is not going to add to the value of our home/property then I must take a short break from it.
After Thursday I will be able to let the appearance of our humble abode slither back down to its usual state of disarray but until then I bid you good reading... elsewhere. :-)
Oh I just remembered that I already have my Watch Me Wednesday post ready to go. So at least there is that for tomorrow. Otherwise, see you Friday.
Why Random
Why do grumpy old ladies who hate children open up consignment shops for kids clothing and accessories?
Will putting Rogain on my tires keep them from going bald?
When I grow up I will wear a bluetooth whenever I am in public so I can talk to myself and no one will know I'm just crazy.
My Poor Love
He had to go back to work today. And it was back to school for me and the kids. I think I got more done before lunch than I did the entire time My Love was on vacation. Three full weeks he had to putz and lend a gallant hand to his frazzled momwife. The last week he was home I think I went into town every day ALONE just because I could.
The first week we were snowed in for the most part and lost power for two of the days. Back when we were not so kid endowed it was hard to adjust to Daddy being home. His presence would throw a wrench into our well oiled daily schedule and it was a relief when he would return to work. Not so this time. Something about the magic number of four kids under seven just made me thankful to have another grown up around. The fact that it was My Love was an added bonus.
Today I was struck by the fact that I relish extra help when I went to use the bathroom. No sooner was I seated than a child let out a blood curdling scream because another child had apparently breathed her air. I hear tiny, tear laden footsteps running toward the bathroom... MY bathroom and I am all at once bombarded by the complaints of my royal subjects against one another. It must have been a mother who coined the phrase "sitting on the throne" because sitting there is conducive to making rulings.
"PRIVACY PUH-LEEZE,"
I shout in a mom voice which means obedience is necessary for life to proceed.
Other than that the day has gone well. School ran smoothly... my ducks are in a row.
Quack.
I'm a Dork
Braniously is an adverb, not an adjective. I'm forever getting those two confuzzed. Back to Schoolhouse Rock for me.
First Things First
I have decided that I will make up one new word a week for this entire year. An idea that may prove to be brainiously entertaining.
Brainiously - adj - describing something which obviously took an incredible amount of higher brain function to create and/or carry through to completion. Witty, smart, and zany. Syn - brilliantly, fabulously, amazingly, ingeniously, incredibly...
Stole this idea from Beck at Frog and Toad are Still Friends who stole it from countless others. Her posts are poignant and dopey (her words...). Actually, her posts make me like being a mommy even when I don't feel like it. And I mean that as a huge compliment even if it doesn't make sense.
The first line from the first post I did each month in 2008.
January
Um... no post for this month and at this point in my blogs existence this was not uncommon.
That was not the first sentence... there really was no posts for January 2008.
February
Apparently I have been tagged by Julie's Musing Medley.
Apparently this was my first tag and the first time I really opened up on my blog about anything personal.
March
See January.
See I told ya so.
April
...of Systematic Theology: An Introduction to Biblical Doctrine by Wayne Grudem.
...whu...?
May
See January and March.
*sigh*
June
I stole this from a frazzled mom (thanks Julie;-]) but I couldn't resist...
I steal.
July
June...
LOL.
August
Yeah... you heard me.
Wow, I actually did most of something I set out to do... three of the five ornaments are on my tree right now.
September
Up here in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains there is no shortage of critters to keep us company.
A very informative post.
October
Wow!
If you haven't seen it... go... go now. Thats my boy!
November
My country, ’tis of thee
Election time and this is most likely the most grown up post I have ever done.
December
So you can't tell me that high fructose corn syrup has no effect on the behavior of children...
The proof is in the clip.
So... Thats my year. One sentence (or lack thereof) at a time. I... I'm... Hmm... everyone elses was so much more interesting. :-p I did notice that I like to do this...
...
My elipses and me... together... forever.
My titles are actually much more interesting than the first sentences... ya know... to draw you in so I can bore you into submission.
Welcome 2009
Starting the new year out a day late and a dollar short... YES! My first resolution accomplished. Ya know #8 ... Don't sweat the small stuff. :-p
Hmmm... Lets find a new word for resolution... Googling...
... New Years... propositions? No, I WILL NOT proposition myself... I have my dignity.
... New Years ... resolves? Nah, too cleany.
New Years... aims... ??? Golly (yah, I say it...so), renaming resolutions is tougher than I thought it would be. Perhaps I should go less ... um... something.
Here are my 2009 New Years but really just a day later than yesterday declarations that I came up with while contemplating what I didn't accomplish last year and would like to accomplish this year all while finishing off a container of spinach dip with a loaf of stale, cubed sourdough bread.
#1 Read the Bible everyday (the grown up version... the one not written for children :-0).
#2 Pray more.
#3 Start doing my own devotionals again.
#4 Get up before the kids so I can accomplish #1-3 (currently I get up with them, and its just not working).
#5 Be more patient and compassionate.
#6 Kill the TV.
#7 Spend less time avoiding the kids (all you mommies know what I mean... I think).
#8 Don't sweat the small stuff (like today when I screamed at Kiah about a playdoh lid ...dumb... its just playdoh).
#9 Create a more formal school schedule (more for my own benefit than the kids).
#10 Lose weight. Exercise. Eat healthier.
So #10 (and perhaps a few others) is a little cliche. However, it is necessary. I have started a new blog called DIE with a T and it will be about my journey to a better body. I didn't want to bog down my fun and frilly blog here with all the boring details of my efforts to lose weight... see, then if you are really interested you can check it out... if not, forget I ever mentioned it.
So there you have it ...
Happy New Year!
